Atom Pals is a free game made by one person. This page says what the game keeps, and why, in plain words.
What stays on your device
Your garden, your pals and your settings are saved in your browser on this device. They don't leave it unless you turn on cloud backup or save a file yourself.
What the game collects
Anonymous play stats (you can turn these off in ⚙️ Settings): a random ID made on your device, which game moments happened (for example "a pal hatched" or "a race finished in 2nd place"), how long each visit lasted, the game version, whether you're on a phone or a computer, and which website sent you here. They never include your name, your pals' names, your email or your location. If something in the game breaks, a short error message is sent with the stats, so it can be fixed.
Visit counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics: how many visits, from which countries, and how fast pages load. It uses no cookies.
Cloud backup (only if you sign in): your email address and a copy of your garden, stored with Supabase. Your email is used only to sign you in. Cloud backup is for players 13 and up.
What the game never does
No ads. No selling or sharing your data. No tracking you on other sites. No tracking cookies.
How long it's kept
Play stats: up to 12 months. Cloud backups: until you ask for them to be deleted.
Deleting your data
Email hello@playprotonpals.com with your stats ID (shown in ⚙️ Settings) and/or the email you use for cloud backup, and it will be deleted within 30 days.
Younger players
Anyone can play. Cloud backup is for players 13 and up; younger players can keep their garden safe with 💾 Save as file.
